The Role
The primary objectives of the Project Manager is to ensure Projects are completed on time. The Project manager will direct and coordinate the utilisation of resources across departments of the project to reach targets.
The Project Manager will ensure compliance with budget and other project requirements as part of the PMO Framework below including but not limited to documenting instructions for end-users and assisting with the testing of the final product.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.
- Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation, both internal and third party.
- Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver the project on budget.
- Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
- Managing delivery of the project according to this plan.
- Tracking project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders
- Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule / or budget.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.
About you
- Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall
- Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
- Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Proficient with M365 Suite of Tools
- Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
Essential Criteria:
- Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
- Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks
- Diploma in Project Management or equivalent work experience
- Experience in project management, including tracking and planning projects
- Experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
