About the Role

The Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing internal and external communications that engage the community, clients, employees, and stakeholders. This role ensures Amana Living’s reputation as a trusted aged care provider is upheld and strengthened through clear, impactful, and meaningful messaging.

Key Responsibilities

Build Communication Strategies

  • Create clear and engaging communication plans that reflect our mission and values
  • Tailor messages to different audiences across the community
  • Support project timelines and help coordinate resources for smooth delivery

Community Engagement & Public Relations

  • Build relationships with media and local organisations to promote aged care
  • Write and share content for media, social platforms, and outreach programs
  • Help organise events that boost visibility and community connection

Digital & Social Media

  • Create website and social media content in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Develop helpful resources like FAQs and educational materials
  • Understand the customer journey, as to shape messaging that informs and inspires

Internal Communications & Brand Reputation

  • Ensure all messaging reflects Amana Living’s values and tone
  • Support internal communications, including staff updates and executive messaging
  • Assist with speech writing and communications for leadership

Publications & Media Management

  • Help develop newsletters, annual reports, and other publications
  • Prepare press releases and media kits that build brand credibility
  • Respond to media enquiries and support crisis communications when needed

About You
