The Role
Our Community Support Workers play a vital role in caring for elderly individuals and helping them maintain their independence at home. Traveling to various suburbs throughout the day is essential for this position.
Your daily responsibilities will be diverse, including personal care (such as showering, dressing, and hygiene), meal preparation, domestic tasks, social support, shopping assistance, transportation, and pet care. Additional duties may involve fitting and removing pressure stockings, providing respite care, and assisting with medication.
We have casual positions available in both the northern suburbs (including Yanchep and Chittering) and southern suburbs (such as Rockingham and Mandurah).
About You
We are seeking compassionate individuals with a nurturing spirit to join our team as Aged Care Support Workers. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for elderly clients by providing essential support, assisting with daily living tasks, and offering companionship. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in aged care, community service, or caregiving, along with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. Requirements
• Acceptable National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
• Evidence of up-to-date flu vaccination and Covid vaccination
• Current WA driver's licence
• Access to a suitable reliable WA registered motor vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
• Pass pre-employment physical assessment and reference checks
• Available to attend a paid compulsory 2-week induction/ training to help you get started at our training institute in Rivervale Mon-Fri 8am - 4.30pm.
