Amana Living is seeking a dedicated Chaplain to provide compassionate pastoral, liturgical, and spiritual care to residents, clients, families, volunteers, and staff. This role plays a vital part in supporting the holistic wellbeing of individuals, offering person-centred care that is inclusive, culturally relevant, and age-appropriate. This will be 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide spiritual guidance, supporting residents and clients in exploring faith, spirituality, ageing, and end-of-life matters
  • Facilitate access to representatives of various religious and faith traditions upon request
  • Deliver person-centred pastoral care, respecting all beliefs and customs
  • Lead regular worship services and special ceremonies, including memorial services and ANZAC Day commemorations
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure holistic care that addresses spiritual wellbeing
  • Complete spiritual assessments for all residents and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in Chaplaincy Team meetings and professional development initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Theological education with ministry experience (chaplaincy experience preferred)
  • Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent training
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and inclusive approach
  • Evidence of support from senior leadership within your faith community
  • National Police Clearance Certificate (within the last six months) Proof of current influenza in line with Amana Living policies
  • Western Australian C Class Driver’s Licence
