Are you a dynamic, adaptable leader with a passion for delivering exceptional services in aged care? Amana Living is looking for an experienced and flexible Operations Manager to lead our Home Care Packages team. This role requires a leader who can innovate, remain resilient, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, all while ensuring the best outcomes for our clients.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will oversee all operations related to Home Care Packages, ensuring that services remain client-focused, efficient, and flexible in response to change. This role requires a leader who can tackle challenges head-on, adjust strategies when necessary, and inspire a team to thrive in a constantly changing environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leadership with Flexibility:
    • Lead and empower a diverse team, including Program Leads, Client Service Managers, Home Care Advisors, and Operations Support Officers.
    • Cultivate a culture of adaptability, encouraging the team to respond effectively to changes in priorities, regulations, and client needs.
    • Provide hands-on support when necessary, stepping in to guide or assist during challenging situations.
  • Driving Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
    • Implement solutions that enhance efficiency and service delivery in a changing landscape.
    • Champion new technologies, systems, and processes to drive operational improvements.
    • Foster a culture of learning and agility within the team to address evolving business needs.
  • Customer-Centric Focus:
    • Ensure all client interactions are handled with empathy and professionalism, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
    • Encourage open communication and feedback from both clients and staff, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strategic and Financial Oversight:
    • Effectively manage budgets, funding, and resources to ensure financial sustainability while delivering exceptional care.
    • Identify and seize opportunities to grow the business in a competitive and changing market.
    • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively addressing areas requiring attention and improvement.
  • Compliance and Change Management:
    • Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation and aged care standards, adapting systems and processes as regulations evolve.
    • Lead change management initiatives to seamlessly integrate new policies, technologies, and practices into everyday operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in an operational leadership role, preferably within aged care, health services, or a related sector.
  • A flexible mindset with the ability to adapt strategies to meet shifting priorities and challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Financial and business acumen, with experience in KPI management, budgeting, and resource planning.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of aged care regulations and a proactive approach to compliance and quality standards.
