The Role:

This position is a permanent part-time position 21 hours per fortnight. 

Week One:

Tuesday: 1600-1930 

Wednesday: 1600-1930

Thursday: 1600-1930

Week Two: 

Tuesday: 1600-1930 

Wednesday: 1600-1930

Thursday: 1600-1930

Key Responsibilities:

As a Kitchen Hand you will be responsible for preparing, plating and serving meals, and providing assistance in the kitchen (making salads, baking cookies and bread etc.).

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in hospitality service roles, preferably as a kitchen hand in an aged care/hospital environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and meet deadlines in accordance with routines and schedules
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and exemplary customer service focus
  • Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months (or ability to obtain at interview stage)
  • NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
  • Evidence of current Flu  and Covid Vaccinations (including Booster if eligible)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and reference checks
  • Willingness to attend a paid 1-day (Monday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
