We are currently seeking applications from experienced Enrolled Nurse for permanent part-time at our Residential Care home in Osborne Park. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working scheduled afternoon shifts previously.

This role is 47 hours per fortnight and you must be able to commit to all the shifts listed below to be considered for the position;

Week 1

Monday 2200-0700

Saturday 1500-2200

Sunday 2200-0700

Week 2

Monday 2200-0700

Saturday 1500-2200

Sunday 2200-0700 

Duties include

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of residents through appropriate assessments
• Contribute in the allocation of workload.
• Support residents with care requirements in line with scope of practice
• Monitor and assist in administering medications
• Provide oversight and leadership to your care staff
• Motivate your team and supervise shifts
• Complete reporting and documentation based on requirement
• Undertake continuous improvement

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working as an Enrolled Nurse in an Aged Care facility and a passion for providing the highest level of care to all our residents. You must be able to work productively within a team environment and adapt to the changes in level of care required

Essential Criteria

• Current unrestricted registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Aged Care facility or Geriatrics ward as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Valid Police Clearance less than 6 months old (or provide a receipt at interview stage)
• Excellent organisational and time management skills –
• Strong leadership skills 
• Experience working with residents with Dementia 
• Be able to pass a pre-employment physical assessment
