Amana Living is seeking a strategic and collaborative Finance Business Partner to join our team. This role is integral to aligning financial performance with operational goals, supporting decision-making, and ensuring compliance across our aged care and not-for-profit services.

You will work closely with operational leaders and the executive team to deliver financial insight, reporting, and analysis that drives efficiency and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis and Modelling

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and presentations for senior management
  • Develop financial models to support pricing and strategic planning
  • Analyse aged care operational costs to identify areas for improvement

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Monitor budget performance and recommend corrective actions

Management Reporting

  • Design and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Deliver ad hoc financial reports to support strategic decisions

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with operations, clinical services, and administration teams to gather financial insights
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function

Essential Requirements

  • National Police Clearance Certificate (issued within the last 6 months) or NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Proof of current influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations (as per Amana Living policy)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in management accounting, budgeting, or financial analysis
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards certification (Australia-recognised)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (minimum Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Experience with Accounting ERPs and Budgeting Tools (e.g., Anaplan)
  • Advanced Excel financial modelling and Power BI proficiency
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical
