Join our team as a Quality Compliance Lead – Retirement Living and play a crucial role in ensuring high standards of resident safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

As the Quality Compliance Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring quality and compliance systems across a portfolio of retirement living communities. You’ll work collaboratively with operational leaders, village managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure services align with industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the Retirement Villages Act, Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation, privacy laws, and other regulatory frameworks
  • Monitor legislative changes and communicate key updates to stakeholders
  • Lead audit processes, accreditation reviews, and incident investigations
  • Maintain and review policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
  • Oversee risk assessments and corrective actions to support operational teams
  • Drive Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives for resident safety and wellbeing
  • Provide training to village managers on regulatory obligations and quality standards
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external regulatory agencies

About You

To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Health, Community Services, Quality Management, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within retirement living, aged care, or human services
  • Expertise in auditing, compliance management, and continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge of retirement living legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support and influence teams
  • Proven ability to manage incidents and drive risk mitigation strategies
  • Advanced time management, problem-solving, and organisational skills

Essential Requirements

  • National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than 6 months).
  • Proof of current influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations, as per Amana Living policies.
  • Completion of a pre-employment medical & Reference checks
  • Western Australia Drivers Licence
