The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role of the painter is to perform the painting of various units and rooms in Amana Living’s various residential and retirement living facilities as business demands with potential for occasional remote work. This role comes with a company vehicle! Monday to Friday 7am - 3:06pm
Key responsibilities:
- To perform unit prep’s in co-ordination with other staff members of the in-house property team once they are vacated by the resident
- Paint rooms/units in various facilities, Retirement Living Units, Hostel and Nursing Homes
- Receive paint jobs from the property helpdesk
- Purchase Paints and materials from our agreed contractor’s list
- You May be required to paint a unit, while the resident is still living in the unit. You may be required to remove paintings and fixtures off the walls and move furniture around. Ensure all items of importance are covered up with drop sheets.
About you
The successful candidate must possess a high level of physical capabilities as constant physical activity varying from low to high intensity, but predominantly of a moderate intensity. Long periods of the day are spent alternating between walking and standing.
Essential Criteria:
- Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
- Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks
- Hold a trade qualification in Painting
- Current WA Drivers Licence
- NDIS Clearance
