The Role
Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Scheduler, where you'll play a vital role in coordinating care for Home Care clients. Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll be responsible for triaging clinical referrals and efficiently scheduling Clinical & Allied Health staff/contractors to provide essential services. With a strong focus on customer service, you'll be the crucial link between clients, Client Service Managers, and CHSP Service Coordinators—ensuring seamless communication and positive client outcomes. Key responsibilities:
Scheduling
- Efficiently coordinate and roster clinical and allied health services, ensuring client needs are met while optimizing team rosters to achieve KPIs.
- Schedule services in alignment with staff availability and location to minimize travel time and maximize efficiency.
- Manage unplanned leave by promptly reallocating services and communicating any changes effectively to clients and staff.
Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Client Management System, ensuring staff and client details reflect current availability.
- Triage incoming referrals, assessing urgency and required services to ensure timely and appropriate scheduling.
- Ensure clinical service time is accurately charged to clients’ packages or accounts.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Maximize the utilization of internal Clinical & Allied Health teams while maintaining strong partnerships with external providers for seamless service delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the needs of Home Care clients and staff are met with professionalism and care.
Training & Professional Development
- Actively participate in mandatory training, professional development sessions, and team meetings for both the Resourcing and Clinical & Allied Health teams.
- Continuously improve work practices and contribute to personal and professional growth.

About you
The successful applicant will demonstrate advanced-level administrative skills and an unwavering commitment to superior customer service delivery. Ideally you would have more than 1 years of experience as a scheduler. Experience with client management systems such as Comcare/and or E-case are desirable.
Essential Criteria:
- Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
- Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Willingness to attend a paid 5-day induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
