The role
We have a full-time, fixed-term contract available for a Management Accountant ready to make an immediate impact.
Who we are looking for
A skilled professional with expertise in financial modelling to play a crucial role in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of our aged care services. This position involves comprehensive financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to assist management in making informed decisions that enhance the quality of care for our residents while ensuring financial sustainability.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for cost savings
- Prepare monthly financial reports and presentations for management review
- Completing of financial modelling to inform pricing
- Analyse costs related to age care operations, identifying areas for efficiency improvement
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Monitor budget performance, provide insights, and recommend corrective actions as necessary
- Develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports to support strategic decision-making
- Liaise with various departments, including operations, clinical services, and administration, to gather financial data and insights
Essential Criteria
- Direct experience in a data analytics, management accounting and/or financial analytics role
- Strong financial and analytical knowledge and skills demonstrated through prior experience in a similar role
- Strong financial modelling skills to drive data-driven decision-making and strategic growth
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification (minimum bachelor’s degree)
- Able to obtain National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than 6 months)
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical forms
