The Role 

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Procurement, this role is suitable for a self-driven, adaptable and highly capable individual who can work independently. Having knowledge of financial accounting, ERPs and a strong systems implementation experience, you will work across functional teams and be the finance representative on systems implementation projects. This role is offered on a contracted full-time basis working 76 hours per fortnight, ending July 2025.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in current system testing and implementation projects.
  • Be the financial representative for software upgrade projects and actively contribute to the development of systems
  • Seek opportunities for system and process improvement through collaborating with stakeholders. Initiate changes
  • Advise to internal stakeholders in relation to financial systems, including reporting and business processes
  • Oversee the resolution of systems issues through liaising with the Project Management office and vendors
  • Maintain and enhance Chart of Accounts functionality
  • Assist in the maintenance of Epicor/ ARM approval tree
  • Develop and maintain system business process documentation in consultation with SMEs
  • Liaison with SMEs and Business analytics team to develop dashboards to meet individual business unit needs and to enable them to independently use the reporting tools
  • Assist in development and maintenance of data models to support decision making and performance analysis, including trend analysis, benchmarking and project modelling
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement, leading through innovation and always looking for a better way to deliver

  • Well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills in relation to ERP systems and business processes.
  • Demonstrated good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven organisational and time management skills.
  • CA / CPA qualified or Australia recognised equivalent with relevant professional memberships.
  • Knowledge of Epicor, eCase and Middleware will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Aged Care financial requirements

 

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance / Accounting
  • Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks
  • Previous experience in Finance system implementation including testing
