ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Hospitality Service worker (Kitchen Hand) at our Kinross Care Centre. This role is offered on a permanent part time basis working 61 hours per fortnight.

Week 1:

Monday 0800-1200

Tuesday 0800-1200

Wednesday 0700-1500

Thursday 0700-1500

Friday 0700-1500

Week 2:

Monday 0800-1200

Tuesday 0800-1200

Wednesday 0700-1500

Thursday 0700-1500

Friday 0700-1500

Please note, days/hours are not flexible - you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.

ABOUT YOU

As a Hospitality Cleaner/ Laundry you will be responsible, Vacuuming, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas o Follows cleaning schedule, Maintaining appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values, Maintains effective interpersonal relationships with others, utilising appropriate channels for assistance guidance and concerns & Responding to emergency cleaning requirements as directed 

 Essential criteria:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in hospitality service roles, preferably as a kitchen hand in an aged care/hospital environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and meet deadlines in accordance with routines and schedules
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and exemplary customer service focus
• Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months (or ability to obtain at interview stage)
• NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
• Evidence of current Flu (2024) and Covid Vaccinations (including Booster if eligible)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and reference checks
• Willingness to attend a paid 1-day (Monday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
