ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse at our Kinross Care Centre our residential facility in Kinross. This role is offered on a permanent part-time basis 46.5hrs per fortnight.

ABOUT YOU:

As an hospitality staff member, you will build strong, positive relationships with our residents and you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food preparation and handling. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering Amana Living’s award winning model of care and be committed to making a real difference to residents' quality of life.

Week One:

Monday: 2300-0715

Saturday 2300-0715

Sunday: 2300-0715

Week Two:

Monday: 2300-0715

Tuesday: 2300-0715

Wednesday: 2300-0715

Key Responsibilities::

  • Complete assessments and documentation for residents, ensuring accurate care planning and relevant supporting documentation
  • Provide coaching, education and support to the team
  • Supervise the delivery of care on a daily basis by the care team
  • Comply with Amana Living policies and procedures and contribute to continuous and quality improvement practice

 Essential Criteria:

  • Registered with the Nurses’ Board of WA as a General Nurse
  • Experience working within Aged Care
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team
  • Knowledge of the resident classification scale, accreditation and continuous improvement
  • Well-developed computer skills
  • Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months (or ability to obtain at interview stage)
  • NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
  • Evidence of current Flu and COVID vaccinations (including Booster if eligible)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
  • Willingness to attend a paid 2-day (Monday & Tuesday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
