ABOUT THE ROLE

Looking for a rewarding role in caring for the elderly? As a Community Support Worker, you'll work in the homes of elderly clients and provide a variety of services, including personal care, meal preparation, domestic duties, social support, shopping assistance, and transportation.

If you're passionate about helping people and have a caring nature, this could be the perfect role for you! If you're not comfortable with personal care, you may be better suited for a Domestic Assistant role.

We are currently hiring Community Support Workers within the Mandurah area. Suburbs include Bouvar, Furnisdale, Lakelands, Meadow Springs, Secret Harbour, Stake Hill, etc... 

ROSTERS

  • Day Shifts: 7am – 3pm
  • Afternoon Shifts: 12pm - 8pm
  • Casual evenings: 4pm – 8pm
  • Casual weekends: (must have 1 weekday availability)

As for rosters, we offer day and afternoon shifts, with varying hours each day within the time frames listed above. You'll be available to be rostered for home care services during these times.

FURTHER CRITERIA

  • Able to obtain a National Police Clearance less than 6 months old.
  • Willing to travel to different suburbs.
  • Commitment to attend 2 weeks of full-time paid induction in Rivervale
  • Evidence of Covid-19 and Flu (2023) vaccinations.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment physical assessment and reference checks
  • Provide evidence of current comprehensive insurance and a suitable WA registered vehicle.
  • Passion for assisting the elderly in the community.

  • Community Support Workers earn $31.38 to $32.40 per hour depending on certification & Domestic Assistant's earn $29.51 per hour
