The Role

The Property Maintenance Officer Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a team of onsite maintenance officers. The main objectives are to maintain a suitable physical environment at all Amana Living service locations that is commensurate with the expectations of our residents, clients and staff. In doing so the role is targeted with minimising property maintenance costs through the use of internal maintenance resources. This role comes with a work vehicle!

Key responsibilities:

•To be the initial escalation point for maintenance for service locations serviced by the team.

•Resolve minor issues with Maintenance Officers within the Team.

•Ensure Property Helpdesk is updated on progress of work in the relevant service locations.

•Check scheduled work within the team is done and logged correctly.

•Check and maintain standard of workmanship of the team and relevant preferred contractors.

•Organise the team to ensure work completed within time constraints.

•Co-ordinate with other Maintenance Officer Team leaders.

•Check and maintain stock levels at service locations.

•Ensure maintenance team safety guidelines are complied with

 

About you

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role/industry with experience in working with geographically dispersed maintenance teams is desirable.

Essential Criteria:

  • Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks
  • Valid WA Drivers Licence
  • NDIS Clearance
