The Role:

We are on the lookout for an Store Person to join the team at Total Catering Solutions. This is a permanent part-time role working 70 hours per fortnight. You’ll be responsible monitoring and controlling the flow of materials in and out of the production area, checking the right products have been delivered in appropriate condition. Please note, the primary workplace for Catering Solution will change to Wangara.

Please note, you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures raw materials are received in expected condition.
• Comply with TCS HACCP requirements.
• Raw materials moved into appropriate areas: dry material in dry store, frozen in freezer ready for production.
• Pack goods ready for dispatch, and complete required delivery documentation
• Notify the manager of any delivery issues.
• Move stock around accordingly, production to storage, and complete temperature documentation.
• Liaise with Cooks/Chefs regarding raw material requirements.
• Unload deliveries using forklift (if licensed) following safe operating procedures as per the forklift manual. 

Essential Criteria:

• Successful completion of pre-medical form, pre-employment physical and reference checks
• Valid Forklift license 
• Experience within a similar role; receiving and dispatching good
• Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months (or ability to obtain at interview stage)
• Demonstrated good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Evidence of current Flu and Covid Vaccinationsx3
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
• Available to attend a compulsory 2-Day (Monday to Tuesday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
