At Amana Living we offer traineeships to potential aged care community support workers in our Home Care Program. This excellent opportunity means you get paid to study and work, and your course fees are also covered by Amana Living.
You would be employed on a part time contract as a community support worker with minimum of 30 hours per fortnight. You will then be able to study and work at the same time and will be able to obtain your certificate in aged care, (minimum 12 months)
To be eligible you must
- have a kind nature;
- be interested in pursuing a career in aged care;
- be either an Australian citizen, permanent resident or comply with the relevant visa requirements; and
- Reliable Vehicle and car comprehensive insurance
- Full drivers licence (no P plates)
- Police clearance
- pass a physical assessment of your ability to perform the requirements of the role.
- 2022 Flu vaccination and Covid Vaccination
- not already hold a Cert III/Cert IV qualifications in Aged care
