Amana Living is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Project Communications Coordinator to drive effective communication strategies across our major projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our staff, clients, residents, families, and stakeholders receive clear, engaging, and informative messaging that aligns with our values and mission. This role is a 12 month contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Communication Strategies – Lead and implement effective communication plans for multiple large-scale projects.
- Engagement and Organisational Culture – Foster a positive and inclusive organisational culture through clear messaging and employee engagement strategies.
- Create Educational and Informative Content – Design communication tools, FAQs, and materials to educate staff and keep stakeholders informed.
- Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration – Work closely with project managers, leadership teams, and marketing to ensure consistent and clear messaging.
- Marketing and Public Affairs – Support public relations efforts, including speechwriting and presentations for leadership.
About You:
We are looking for a proactive and creative communications professional with:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in change management and strategic communications within a mid-to-large organisation in a similar sector
- Strong ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- The ability to build relationships, collaborate across teams, and influence stakeholders.
- A problem-solving mindset with innovative and creative thinking.
Essential Requirements:
- National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than 6 months)
- Proof of current influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations (as per Amana Living policies)
- Bachelor's degree (or working towards one) in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Successful completion of Pre-Employment Medical form and reference check
